Schools for Climate Resilience (EHA)

Si è svolto un incontro online tra studenti, durante il quale i partecipanti si sono preparati a viaggiare come tester e discenti in vista del prossimo meeting del progetto che si terrà a Trikala in Grecia a fine novembre. Al loro rientro, gli alunni condivideranno con i compagni quanto appreso durante l’esperienza in Grecia. Le presentazioni realizzate dagli studenti e il post sul blog dedicato al progetto saranno pubblicati e resi visibili a tutta la comunità scolastica

Durante l'incontro web, sono state discusse le fonti alternative di energia rinnovabile della Grecia, come energia solare, eolica, idroelettrica, bio e geotermica. Inoltre, c'era un'affascinante panoramica delle antiche fonti energetiche greche che venivano utilizzate per lavare i vestiti e macinare la farina.

Oggigiorno, gran parte della produzione di elettricità è coperta da fonti rinnovabili in Grecia ⚡ e gli studenti hanno ascoltato esempi concreti di utilizzo energetico nell'area di Trikala, sia in passato che oggi. Al termine dell’incontro, gli studenti hanno potuto mettere alla prova le proprie conoscenze attraverso un emozionante gioco 🎮 su Kahoot. Con grande entusiasmo 🥳 abbiamo assistito alla vittoria della studentessa Elise Mustkivi, che si è aggiudicata il primo posto! 🌟

💬 Il progetto EHA è quindi ufficialmente lanciato! I partner greci hanno già creato le prime classi di lingua e tecnologia inglese che trattano temi ambientali, che sono attualmente in fase di feedback nelle scuole partner. Presto saranno testati in una classe internazionale con bambini greci, cechi, italiani ed estoni.

with Greek, Czech, Italian, and Estonian students.

This week, as part of the first activity of the environmental project Erasmus+ EcoHarmony: Schools for Climate Resilience (EHA) 🌱, an online meeting among students took place, during which participants prepared to travel as testers and learners for the upcoming project meeting to be held in Trikala, Greece, at the end of November. Upon their return, the students will share with their classmates what they learned during their experience in Greece. The presentations created by the students and the blog post dedicated to the project will be published and made available to the entire school community.

💡 During the web meeting, participants discussed alternative renewable energy sources in Greece, such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, bio-, and geothermal energy. There was also a fascinating overview of ancient Greek energy sources that were once used for washing clothes and grinding flour. Nowadays, a large part of electricity production in Greece ⚡ comes from renewable sources, and students heard real-life examples of energy use in the Trikala area, both in the past and today.

🎮 At the end of the meeting, students had the opportunity to test their knowledge through an exciting Kahoot game. With great enthusiasm 🥳 we watched student Elise Mustkivi take first place! 🌟

💬 The EHA project has therefore been officially launched! The Greek partners have already created the first English and technology classes focusing on environmental topics, which are currently being tested and reviewed in partner schools. Soon, they will be tested in an international classroom with Greek, Czech, Italian, and Estonian students.
